Shirts and blouses share the same wear areas - collar, cuffs, fabric around the top button - but not the same fabrics, and that changes how to assess them. On woven cotton, wear shows: the fabric thins and the collar marks. On viscose or silk, it is invisible from the front: tiny snags and pulled threads only appear against the light, so you should always hold the piece up to the light before deciding. Also check that the colour is even by comparing an exposed area with a sheltered area of the garment, as fine fabrics fade gradually. Finally, the buttons: on this kind of piece they are often specific to one model, so impossible to find again like for like if one is missing.
