Second-hand Tommy Hilfiger

Tommy Hilfiger is a brand of classic American wardrobe staples whose identity rests on very little: the red, white and blue flag, stripes, and clean-cut shapes. It is good territory for second-hand because the brand's basics change little from one season to the next - an Oxford shirt or a polo from the brand cannot be dated at a glance. Be careful not to mix up the lines: Tommy Jeans is a separate denim and streetwear world, with its own cuts and its own positioning. The sizing is fairly generous, especially on pieces from before 2010, and often given in US sizes. On a pre-owned piece, the things to check are the state of the embroidered flag, the shoulder seams on shirts, and pilling on knits where they rub.
