Withdrawal period
In accordance with article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 calendar days from receipt of your parcel to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason.
Including our made-to-order creations. Pieces in the “Our creations” section - including Prince & Co, embroidered after your order - carry the same 14-day right of withdrawal as the rest of the shop. We voluntarily waive the exception for goods made to the consumer's specifications (art. L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code): our designs are chosen from the catalogue, not designed for you.
Conditions of acceptance
As our items are second-hand, the returned item must reach us in the same condition as when you received it:
- Not worn outside, not washed, not altered
- With the GetEverwear label still attached, if present
- In its original packaging if possible
Some lingerie, swimwear and earrings reach you under a hygiene seal. In that case only, and in accordance with article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code, withdrawal is no longer possible once the seal has been opened. It remains fully available as long as the seal is intact, and unconditionally for any item delivered without a seal. The presence of a seal is stated on the product page before purchase.
Please note: as our pieces are one of a kind, a like-for-like exchange is generally not possible. See the “Exchanges” section below.
Return procedure
- Open the Cancel my purchase page and enter your order number and your e-mail address. No account is needed.
- Check the wording of your declaration, then confirm. You immediately receive a time-stamped acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail.
- Create your shipment on mondialrelay.fr choosing our locker as the destination: Locker 24/7 BipBipDestock (No. FR-38862), 76 rue de la Mine, 34980 Saint-Gély-du-Fesc. It is accessible 24/7.
Mondial Relay will ask you for the recipient's details: enter GetEverwear, contact@geteverwear.com and 07 45 00 64 23. This number does not take calls: it is only used to receive by text message the code that lets us open the locker. - Drop the parcel off at the pickup point or locker of your choice. As soon as we collect it, we check the item and issue the refund if it comes back in line with what we shipped.
You can also inform us of your decision by simple e-mail to contact@geteverwear.com, stating your order number: no particular form is required to withdraw.
Return costs
- Returns from France: you create and pay for your shipment directly with Mondial Relay, to our locker (see step 3 above). For information, as at 15 June 2026: about €4.15 up to 500 g, €5.99 up to 1 kg and €7.99 up to 3 kg. These amounts are Mondial Relay's, may change at any time and are not guaranteed by GetEverwear: only the price list published by Mondial Relay is authoritative. The locker accepts parcels up to 64 × 41 × 38 cm.
The costs above only apply to withdrawal without reason. If the item received does not conform (undescribed defect, wrong item, size or colour, damage in transit), the return and the bringing into conformity are entirely at our expense: we refund your actual shipping costs on presentation of the Mondial Relay receipt, and nothing is deducted from your refund. This is the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and it applies free of charge.
Defect caused after delivery: not covered. The legal guarantee covers defects that existed when we shipped the item to you. It does not cover damage that appeared afterwards: unsuitable use, care or washing not in line with the label, alteration, dyeing, a tear or stain occurring after receipt, or odours absorbed after delivery (perfume, cigarette smoke, animals, damp) that were not present at shipping. If examination of the return establishes that the damage results from one of these causes, the guarantee does not apply: the item is neither refunded nor exchanged, and your return shipping costs remain at your expense. We inform you of this with supporting photographs, and you can ask us to send the item back to you, at your shipping expense.
During the first twelve months after delivery, it is up to us to prove that the defect did not exist at the outset (article L217-7 of the French Consumer Code, the period applicable to second-hand goods). We therefore never refuse a guarantee claim without an established and documented reason. This paragraph only concerns the guarantee: if you exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days, you are refunded even if the item has lost value, the depreciation then being deducted under the conditions described below.
To report a problem on receipt, contact us at contact@geteverwear.com, with photos. Each case is handled individually in compliance with the applicable legal guarantees.
Refund
In accordance with article L221-24 of the French Consumer Code, the refund is made no later than 14 days after the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. In accordance with the same article, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied proof of having sent them, whichever is earlier. The refund is made to the original payment method, unless you expressly agree to another method.
In accordance with article L221-23, the standard initial delivery costs are refunded. If you chose a more expensive delivery option than the standard option offered, the extra cost remains at your expense.
Important, handling of the goods (L221-23): you are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. An item worn outside, washed, altered or damaged may be subject to a deduction proportionate to the depreciation found, which we justify to you.
Trying on is not wearing
You may try on the item as you would in a shop: long enough to check its size, cut and appearance. Wearing it beyond that, washing it, altering it or damaging it goes further than trying it on, and makes you liable for the loss of value caused.
Every piece is inspected and photographed before shipping. The inspection report, with its check number, is in your parcel: when we receive the return, we compare the condition of the item with this report. Defects already stated on the product page and the normal wear of the piece never give rise to a deduction - only a new defect can.
The scale of depreciation rates applied according to the type of defect is published in our terms and conditions of sale. These rates are starting points, never automatic penalties: the amount deducted takes into account the value the item actually retains, is communicated to you with photographic evidence, and you can dispute it.
Depreciation does not make you lose your right of withdrawal: the return is accepted and refunded, less only the depreciation found.
Exchanges
As our pieces are one of a kind, an exact exchange (same model in another size / colour) is generally not possible. If you would like another piece, we invite you to place a new order and then send the original back to us using the standard return procedure. This speeds up processing and ensures you receive the item you want before someone else takes it.
Item not matching the order
If you receive an item different from your order or with a defect not mentioned on the product page, contact us at contact@geteverwear.com, attaching photographs of the parcel and of the item concerned. Each case is examined individually in compliance with articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (legal guarantee of conformity).
For withdrawal without reason, you have the 14-day period described above. The photographs published on the product page at the time of the order are proof of the initial condition of the goods.
Legal guarantee
Your purchases benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. The time limit for bringing a claim is 2 years from delivery of the goods (article L217-12). For second-hand goods, the presumption that the defect already existed lasts 1 year (article L217-7): after that period, and up to 2 years, it is for the consumer to prove that the defect existed at delivery.
Your purchases also benefit from the guarantee against hidden defects provided for in articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code. See the terms and conditions of sale for how to exercise it.
A defect described or photographed in the listing does not give rise to a refund. Our pieces are second-hand: holes, stains, discolouration, weak seams, missing parts and wear are stated on the product page, in text or in photos. These defects are part of what you are buying and do not constitute a lack of conformity, any more than normal wear related to age and use. We keep the product page as it was on the day of your order, photos included, and we send it to you if you dispute.
However, this takes nothing away from your right of withdrawal: within 14 days, you can send the item back without having to justify yourself, even if its condition exactly matches the description.
