Second-hand men's jeans
20 pairs of jeans available, in M, mostly in very good condition, between €19 and €69.
Jeans are the piece where second-hand is objectively better than new, for a technical reason: denim improves with wear. A genuine patina, earned through years of wear, cannot be reproduced industrially - factory washes imitate it, without the depth. The most useful clue before buying is not the size but the model number on the label, which defines the cut regardless of the year: at Levi's a 501 is straight and high-rise, a 511 slim. Measurements are in inches, W for the waist and L for the leg length, with no stable equivalent in French sizes. The decisive check is done against the light, on two areas: the crotch, where the fabric thins before giving way, and the pocket bags. On stretch denim, check the spring of the elastane - once lost, the cut never comes back.
