Second-hand men's coats and jackets
81 coats available, from XS to XXXL, mostly in very good condition, between €15 and €150.
A pre-owned coat or jacket is judged on what is expensive to repair, not on its overall look. The fastening first: test it along its whole run, as a specific zip is hard to replace like for like and often costs more than the piece. Then the lining, under the arms, which gives way before the outer fabric - it can be replaced, whereas fabric made shiny by an iron that was too hot does not come back. On wool, look for moth damage in the inside seams. On a technical piece, the visible condition tells you nothing about the real condition: the heat-sealed tape inside the seams comes away at the shoulders, and the water-repellent treatment wears out, so an impeccable jacket may no longer be waterproof. Water repellency can be reactivated; a delaminated membrane cannot.
