Second-hand men's polo shirts
213 polo shirts available, from XS to XXXL, mostly in very good condition, between €5 and €65.
The polo shirt is the piece where second-hand has the most to offer, for a reason of fabric: the cotton piqué of older production is thicker and more structured than that of today's basics, and that is what keeps a collar standing after years. A twenty-year-old polo that has been properly cared for often behaves better than a new entry-level one. Watch out for size systems, which differ from one brand to another: Lacoste numbers from 2 to 7, Fred Perry follows British sizes and fits close to the body, sports brands run wide on their older pieces. The point that decides the real condition is always the same: the collar. If it ripples or the points curl up, that is irreversible, whereas a slightly pilled knit can be rescued. Then look at the button placket, which loses its shape when the garment has been hung on a hanger that was too wide, and at the underarms, which mark before the rest.
