Second-hand Chevignon
4 pieces available, from S to XL, mostly in very good condition, between €10 and €150.
Chevignon is a French brand born from the flying jacket, and its wardrobe revolves around leather and heavy fabrics. That is what makes it interesting second-hand: a well-kept jacket takes on a patina over decades, and the leathers used on older production are thicker than those of today's mass market. The sizing follows French sizes and stays fairly roomy on jackets, cut to be worn over a knit. On a pre-owned piece, the key distinction on leather is simple: dryness can be nourished and rescued, a deep crack is permanent. Then check the lining, which gives way before the leather and can be replaced, the fastenings - often specific to one model - and the shoulder seams, which are the stress point.
