Oxbow is a French brand born from surfing in Bordeaux, with a simple outdoor wardrobe and fabrics designed for being outside. Second-hand, it is a brand judged on the state of its features rather than its looks: windbreakers and technical pieces rely on surface treatments and taped seams that age before the fabric does. A jacket can therefore look perfect and have lost its waterproofing. The sizing is fairly roomy and follows European sizes. Check first on a pre-owned piece: the inside of the seams, where the heat-sealed tape comes away first, the state of the zips, and the elastics on the hood and the hem. On T-shirts and sweatshirts, wear shows on the prints: a cracked screen print cannot be repaired.
