Second-hand Puma
12 pieces available, from S to XL, mostly in very good condition, between €5 and €39.
Puma is a sports brand whose pre-owned wardrobe is split between training pieces and lifestyle lines inspired by the archives, with regular reissues of old models. That calls for a little attention: a recent reissue and a period piece sometimes carry the same name without having the same construction. The simplest clue is the label and the shape of the big cat, which has changed over the decades. The sizing is fairly fitted and given in European sizes, which makes it simpler to judge than American brands. On a pre-owned piece, wear shows first on the prints and the side stripes: a screen-printed logo that cracks cannot be repaired. On technical garments, check the elastics and drawcords, and test the fastenings along their whole run. Older synthetic fabrics can hold on to odours that are hard to treat.
