The North Face men's sweatshirts and jumpers

The North Face runs generous, to allow layering, and gives US sizes. On a pre-owned sweatshirt or jumper, wear shows at the ribbed edges - cuffs, hem, neckline - which lose their spring before the knit itself suffers. Then check for pilling where it rubs (elbows, under the arms, waist) and, on fine knits, look for snags against the light rather than from the front.
