adidas T-shirts are split between cotton and technical fabrics, and the two do not age the same way at all: cotton stretches and thins, synthetic keeps its shape but holds on to odours and goes shiny where it rubs, which cannot be rescued. So the composition label should be read before the price. The logo places the piece: trefoil for Originals, wide and short cuts; three bars for performance, fitted cuts. On a pre-owned piece, two things decide the condition, and the fabric is not one of them: the neckline, which never recovers its shape once stretched, and the print - a cracked screen-printed logo is permanent. Also look at how the hem hangs, as it twists when the cotton has been washed too hot.
